Oscar Wilde once said, “A well-tied tie is the first serious step in life” and Yves Saint-Laurent also added, “Fashions fade, style is eternal.” If we split hairs in a rational manner, we see a lot of sense in these powerful fashion and style statements. Fashion rates an individual but style, on the other hand, defines one’s personality.

                                   

We all love fashion and style, and from one generation to another, we curse and drop the older fashions. Both men and women experience more or less the same effect when fashion and style changes. For example, men’s ties have evolved overtime from traditional ties and tying styles to new and fashionable styles that most fashion lovers love to see on men. See Uzo Aduba's 2015 Emmys Speech that brought everyone To Tears Along With Her

    

I was really rooting for Uzo Aduba on Sunday at the 2015 Emmys Awards. The actress was nominated for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on Orange is the New Black as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren, and, with respect to Joanne Froggatt, Lena Headey, Christina Hendricks, Emily Clarke, and Christine Baranski, Uzo Aduba deserved to win the Emmy award hands down. She took Suzanne from being a comedic and at times terrifying character, and transformed her with so much emotional depth that there are entire sections of Orange Is The New Black fans that refuse to call her "Crazy Eyes" out of respect for the moment when Suzanne revealed that she had no idea why the other inmates called her that. So, when Aduba took to the stage to accept her award, I should have known she was going to break my heart with how happy I was for her. In fact, just try getting through the transcript of Uzo Aduba's 2015 Emmys speech without sobbing.
                                        

   
"Hi, um, okay. i really just want to say thank you a thousand times. If I could say thank you a thousand times it would not be enough to cover the amount of thanks that I feel for you, Jenji Kohan. I love you so much. I appreciate you for putting belief back in my heart. I love you," she began, immediately ensuring there was not a dry eye in the house. In fact, her eyes didn't remain dry either, as Aduba got more and more emotional the further she got into her speech. "Thank you for making this show, for creating this space, for creating a platform. Thank you to our family at Netflix and Lionsgate, you all are incredible, I love you so much for your kindness....thank you everybody, our whole family. I want to say thank you to our cast and our crew. I love you guys. I am so thankful to stand beside a set of artists who are so brilliant. I want to say thank you to our team, my team that I work with. My manager Leigh, my agents, my lawyers, all of them. You guys are incredible. And I love you mostly, because you let me be me. And finally, I really just want to say thank you to my family, who have stood beside me my entire life. My sister ChiChi you are my very best friend. I am humbled to call myself your sister, I love you so much."
                         

The emotional moment really should not have come as a surprise to the audience considering how we were already well-aware of exactly how good Aduba is at playing on the heartstrings of her audience. But what really makes this moment so special is that it was entirely authentic, entirely genuine, and entirely unscripted — sure, she may have had the speech ready just in case, but it was clear from the way she burst into tears in the audience that Aduba did not actually expect to win, and was so thrilled and overwhelmed to actually be recognized for her considerable talents. All in all, it was pretty much the best moment of the night, and I'll be reading that speech over and over again every time I need to have a good cry.
