CLASSY GIRL CLOSET:HOW TO DRESS UP YOUR JEANS!!

While jeans are traditionally considered casual wear, the right pair can easily be dressed up for your next casual Friday, romantic date, or night out with friends. Jeans are a tremendously versatile wardrobe basic.
As long as you start with the right jeans, you can create nearly any look by knowing how and what to match them with.

Before you purchase..

-If you have a thicker ankle than you’d like, buy the styles that have the zippers – much easier to climb in and out of
-don’t, whatever you do, buy a size too small. the correct fit is the best fit
-if they’re too long, don’t worry. It’s ok to have a little gather at the ankle. Especially if you’re intending to wear your skinny jeans with ankle boots
-dark coloured skinny jeans work better on plus size women
-designer boots almost always work with skinny jeans

Consider a colored jean. Black or white denim can be dressed up with relative ease. Try to avoid funky, bold colors, however, since these may be more difficult to dress up and will likely go out of style after a while.

Make sure your jeans fit properly. The simplest, most important aspect of dressing up your jeans is to start with a pair that flatters your figure and fits your body right. Avoid jeans that are too snug in all the wrong places, as well as jeans that are loose and baggy.

Self conscious about your tummy?
If you carry a bit more weight in your stomach area you probably cringe at the idea of wearing skinny jeans. A great tip would be avoid wearing low rise and high waist jeans if your tummy concerns you. Not wearing those two types of jeans will avoid a belly bulge or muffin top. Do wear mid rise skinny jeans so the waistband goes across the belly below your belly button and hip bones. Pairing these jeans with a body skimming top and a light jacket can better the look.

The Boyfriend jeans

Boyfriend jeans started off a few years ago as this uber and frankly way too trendy item in every girl’s closet. Their birth as baggy relaxed jeans totally opposite to their skinny siblings, had probably something to do with the 80s mom jeans (that too are back in fashion) and the classic boot cut denim design of the 90s. Before we knew it we were bitch slapped over  with an invasion of oversized baggy loose jeans more shredded than ever lolzz. And we embraced them. And wore them to death, as if we’ve had enough of skinnies and proper denim.
