It doesn’t seem so long ago we were all picking our jaws up off the floor after Miley Cyrus twerked on Robin Thicke during the 2013 VMAs. But watching the MTV VMAs on Aug.30, you would’ve thought we were back in 2009. Taylor Swift and Kanye West stole the show yet again, between the former winning all the Moonmen and her surprise Nicki Minaj performance and the latter shocking the world with an epic rant and a bid for presidency.
It’s hard to pick a moment when Miley really shined — because the choices are endless. From the moment she slid down a rainbow out onto the VMA stage, she dominated the show with outrageous outfits, nudity, and her killer closing performance. But I think what struck me the most about Miley was her crazy raunchy outfits!!!Jeezzz!

Then, of course, there was her sparring match with Miz Minaj, who called Miley out pretty bluntly after accepting Best Rap video. Most unseasoned hosts would’ve been completely thrown off by the jab, but Miley stood tall, head held high, and went right back at her. “Hey, we’re all in this industry. We all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate sh*t,” she shrugged before adding, “Nicki, congratulations.”
But while many might consider the highlight of the Nicki and Taylor putting their ‘Bad Blood’ behind them or Kanye’s indescribable rant about ‘the kids’, for me i was completely stunned at her outfits.Shocking?Or what do you think?Take a look below-

    

      

         

Amber Rose & Blac Chyna Call Out Haters With ‘Whore’ Outfits At The VMAs

   

Amber Rose and Blac Chyna are fed up with being called names. Before the VMAs, the two hit the red carpet, wearing some of the words they’ve been called including ‘bitch’ and ‘whore’!

Wow, this is how you make a statement. At the Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, Amber Rose, 31, and Blac Chyna, 27, decided to show the haters exactly what they thought of them by wearing insults! Seriously, both women rocked outfits with painted on words including (but not limited to) “gold digger,” “stripper,” “slut” and pretty much every other derogatory term you can think of– usually directed at women.

Amber Rose wore the powerful statements by means of a beige jumpsuit. She completed the look with black slingbacks and dark black shades.

Blac Chyna, meanwhile, opted for a more traditional silhouette, wearing a floor length gown which showed off her insanely perfect cleavage. She topped off the look with sleek and straight hair.

However, obviously looking at these two, it’s not exactly the shape of their dresses, or the height of their heels that people are going to be talking about. These women were obviously fed up with how they have been treated by the media as well as those in their personal lives, Are Amber & Blac's outfits a cool way to make a statement?

Additionally, these two have been pretty much attached at the hip lately as they reportedly get ready for their reality show. We have to wonder if these risky outfits will be featured on the series, as well as which bold lady had this idea.

In a candid and at times heartfelt acceptance speech at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards, the rapper concluded his remarks by announcing a presidential bid for the election five years from now.

"I don't know what I finna lose after this. It don't matter, though; It's not about me. It's about ideas. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth," West said. "And yes, as you probably could've guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president."

It was unclear how serious West was about his plans for running for president. He told the audience that if they are wondering "Did he smoke something before he came out here," then "the answer is 'Yes, I rolled up a little something. I knocked the edge off.'"

   
The declaration came after his reflections on whether he would have acted differently if he could change his behavior during the infamous 2009 incident when he grabbed the microphone from VMA award winner Taylor Swift.

Last night, Swift presented West with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and an impassioned West told the audience that he still doesn't understand award shows— "I don't understand it, bruh,"— and he pondered out loud whether he would have disrupted Swift's speech if had had a daughter at the time.

"I'm not no politician, bruh," West said, remarking on the decision to have Swift present him with the award this year. "You know how many times they announced Taylor was going to give me the award. Because it got them more ratings. Listen to the kids, bruh!" West said. Hahaha!OMG!

           

Well!things are about to get serious!lolz because The night after West claimed at MTV's Video Music Awards that he's running for president in 2020, the "Ready for Kanye" committee -- which, in theory, would allow the group to raise money for an effort to draft the rapper into the presidential race -- was filed with the Federal Election Commission.
The committee was started by Eugene Craig III, a Maryland conservative activist.

‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Over? Kim, Kylie & Khloe Ready To Quit!

Is this the end of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians?’ Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner want to quit the show, A desperate Kris Jenner even reportedly begged her daughters to stay!
      

The curtain may be falling on the Kardashian Empire! Kim Kardashian, 34, Khloe Kardashian, 31, and Kylie Jenner, 18, have become household names, thanks to Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its various spin-offs. The family business has also made them and momager,Kris Jenner, 59, very rich, but it’s reportedly about to come crashing down. Kris’s daughters are allegedly done with KUWTK and are ready to leave the show!

The three biggest stars of KUWTK reportedly met with the head of the Kardashian family to discuss the show’s future. During this alleged meeting, they reportedly told their mother that they were quitting! “It’s not like Kim, Khloe and Kylie don’t want to be on television anymore,”  “They just don’t want to do Keeping Up With the Kardashians or its spinoffs.” Yikes!

Of course, this didn’t sit well with Kris, who reportedly flipped out at their alleged decision. “Kris begged them all to stay, even for one more season. But they told her that they all feel thefranchise has run its course.(”Hmmnn....You can say that again!!) “They each have their own individual reasons [for quitting,] and all of them are through with the show.”
    

   

Kim is reportedly looking to make a name for herself away from the show, and husband Kanye West reportedly thinks doing KUWTK is beneath her. Khloe allegedly blames the show fordestroying her marriage with Lamar Odom, according to a report. As for Kylie, she reportedly would much rather hang out with friends than work on KUWTK. Plus, now that she’s an adult, “she’s ready to expand her horizons. She might even go into business withTyga ...lolzzz!!.

Wow. If Kim and her sisters reportedly want to leave the show, what does this mean for the $100 million dollar, four year deal that they signed with E! in February? The contract ensured thatKUWTK would be on the air for four more seasons, but that might reportedly be four seasons too much for Kim, Khloe and Kylie!Wow!

CUFFLINKS: WHAT THEY TELL ABOUT YOU!

I’ve written about the when to wear cuff links in a previous so in this post, I’m going to discuss the impression your cuff-links give people around you.



This post was triggered by a business networking event I attended sometime ago, where I was able to take a survey at the men at this function and distinguish, with high accuracy, the status of people in their line of work through observation. However,my closer observation of their dressing made me realize that the style of their cufflinks factored in my assessment of their social standing. Here are my observations -


THE INTERN CUFFLINKS



Some men ( younger) at the event were wearing silk knots on their french cuffs shirts. These are cufflinks made of yarn that normally have multiple or plain colors and immediately upon seeing them, I placed this group of people into ‘The Intern’ category. Why do I say this? Silk knots are the most affordable cufflinks you can get, and great at informal events or at the office on a regular basis, but at a business event, it clearly puts you lower on the social ladder.


THE EXECUTIVE CUFFLINKS


This is the group of people I call ‘The Executives’. These guys were wearing mainly metal cufflinks, These type of cufflinks normally have design on one end – with the other end being either bullet-shaped or shaped like a ‘whale-tail’ – both of which flip to make it easy to wear the cufflink. These cufflinks are definitely a class above silk knots and considered acceptable for a business event.



THE 'BOSS' CUFFLINKS




Whenever I saw a unique cufflinks that were understated, yet elegant, I tended to group the person into ‘The Boss’ category – by which I mean someone of status within their business with decision making powers. Handcrafted cufflinks can be like heirlooms – made from precious metals or pearls – and are usually a single piece with designs on both ends.


Dont get me wrong oh!Of course, there were Executives who had unique cufflinks like a Boss at the event. There were even Interns with good fashion sense.What I mean is that cufflinks certainly make you stand out.Also, knowing how to dress for such an event and knowing how to look out for to find the right group of people to network with through subtle means such as their accessories can certainly be helpful.
